Administration

Dr. Shawn Teske began serving Warren CUSD 205 on July 1, 2012, as the Junior/Senior High School Principal, Athletic Director, and Head Football Coach. On July 1, 2015, Warren CUSD 205 promoted him to the roles of District Superintendent and Elementary School Principal. Currently, he serves the school district as the District Superintendent and Athletic Director. Prior to Warren CUSD 205, Dr. Teske taught and coached at Pecatonica CUSD 321 in Pecatonica, Illinois.

Dr. Teske grew up in the region, having graduated from Pecatonica High School. After high school, he acquired his Bachelor of Science degree from Rockford University, formerly known as Rockford College. While teaching at Pecatonica, he received his Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Aurora University. While serving as the Principal at Warren Jr./Sr. High School, he earned his Education Specialist degree from Western Illinois University. The last chapter of his educational career also took place at Western Illinois University, where he graduated with his Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership degree in 2020.

Dr. Teske and his wife, Milena, moved to Warren in 2013. They simply love Warren CUSD 205 and the community. It is with pride that he ends his communications with two simple words, “Go Warriors!”
